The attitude of some people in this country disgusts me: teachers take your kids off your hands every week day, bust a gut to try and educate them — often fighting them all the way because ‘learning’ and ‘work’ are something they want other people to do for them — and then you bitch and moan when we strike to stand up for ourselves? We get blamed for enough crap as it is: make someone else your scapegoats for a change.
How about the banks? The rich? The politicians who undoubtedly won’t get hit by any of these cuts?
I challenge any parent or politician to go into a rough, inner city school, do their jobs for a week, and then to come away and say they don’t deserve a decent pension.
